Abstract

The independence of beneficiaries in Sentra Mulya Jaya is a priority goal of the government in providing vocational training programs to equip them for entrepreneurship at the Attention Creation Center (SKA). Low education and lack of understanding related to entrepreneurship is a challenge for the government and centers to be able to produce independence in the beneficiaries in entrepreneurship, whereas the SKA program is a program that accommodates beneficiaries who have received vocational training to be able to become entrepreneurs. The SKA program was ratified on February 18, 2021, this program is a new program that needs evaluation to see how the conditions of the beneficiaries' independence after receiving vocational training. The results of interviews conducted by researchers, one of the beneficiaries who is an entrepreneur at SKA has not been able to be creative in the business he runs, does not have self-confidence, has not obtained satisfaction from his business, and still lacks assistance from the hall. This thesis discusses how the post-social assistance vocational training program influenced the entrepreneurial independence of beneficiaries at the Attention Creation Center. Then, this study discusses the conditions of the beneficiary's independence from aspects of emotional independence, behavioral independence, and value independence. This research has used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study are: 1) The level of education affects the learning process of the beneficiaries. 2) The ability of the beneficiaries when setting targets does not contain an element of innovation and the beneficiaries have the nature of intellectual independence so that they can solve the problems they face. 3) Beneficiaries expect companions to assist in innovating. 4) The regulations set by SKA are obstacles experienced by beneficiaries in innovating, this affects the beneficiary's behavioral autonomy. Based on the results of the study, the researchers recommend that training instructors need to add variety in providing entrepreneurship material to beneficiaries who have low formal education; beneficiary assistants need to increase their assistance in conducting the process of monitoring and providing entrepreneurship guidance; The implications of this research can be used as an evaluation of vocational training programs at Attention Creation Centers or similar places. The SKA Coordinator needs to evaluate the regulations stipulated in the SKA regarding sales provisions and SOPs.
